"Doctor?" The nurse approached him with a clipboard in her hands. "Ambulance radioed ahead; there's another woman in labor headed in."
He nodded his head. "Another one, huh? Lots of new mommies today." That was the fifth one today. Certainly a strange coincidence, but nothing they couldn't handle. They had a large maternity ward at the hospital, and while a few of the woman were acting unnecessarily frantic, the deliveries had all gone well.
He stood up from his seat and headed over to the sink, washing his hands in preparation, humming to himself. The nurse leaned over a counter, writing something down in a folder. She made a face as her stomach felt kind of upset, rubbing it slightly while she wrote. It continued to get worse, and she eventually set her pen down, putting both hands on the counter and hanging her head, eyes shut as the pressure in her stomach got a little too uncomfortable. She groaned as her belly felt bloated,
